Every Man Is An Island

I stand by that. But clearly some men are island chains. Underneath, they are connected...

Today is Wednesday.

Hmm, trying to recount the activities of the last two days.

Tuesday morning was the first day of class. We got up at like 630 so that we could have time to eat our daily giant complimentary breakfast. We try to only eat twice a day to save money. Sadly, 630 isn't even the butt crack of dawn. Apparently, the sun wakes up at like 400, crazy. Class was ok, but our teacher was pretty hot. Hotter than Suggies ;)

After class we went to the Parliament. It's in a building that used to be the King's palace called Christianborg Slot. They had these sweet elevators that ran continuously. I'll post a pic at some point.

It was a marvelous day out so I decided to hop on one of the public bikes. These bikes are free. You just pop 20 Kroner in when you take it, and when you return it, you get your money back. I rode it up the street and ended up like a mile away at Rosenborg Slot because I was kind of scared to turn. Like seriously, it's a bit freaky, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I found my way to a sweet part which housed the botanical gardens. I perched myself on a bench and did a little reading. It was boring and a bit chilly. I rode myself home on this real piece of a bike.

After doing a bit of reading and napping simultaneously, I went on another adventure to find the "Subway." It was a bit far away down the Stroget, which is the walking street. But I made it and got a sandwhich for only 50 Kroner. I ended up spending the rest of the night reading and falling asleep. Lame.

This morning I did bike myself to class. It was awesome. I was the last to leave the hotel and the first to get to class.

Now it's time to go check on train tickets to Berlin and Stockholm.
