Today is Monday.
It's my last week here. I just want to get everything done. I recently learned that the artist with the hat was named Peter Sommers and not David Sommers. I guess I was too drunk to remember.
Well Friday was fun. We hit up the Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød. I love typing that weird ø thing that is super hard to pronounce. The Castle is cool but there's this group picture when we're standing across the lake where I'm like the only one laughing. That was because John friggin pinched my ass, bastard. After the castle we made it back for happy hour at the Hard Rock. I got some yummy buffalo wings, but they were like super spicy and burning my mouth. We hit up the Fakta for some alcohol. I picked up two bottles of this apple stuff I had before. I thought it was good and super sweet, but that was when I was already drunk and had been drinking beer beforehand. Drinking this stuff when I was sober was a different story. It was not so good, but I did what had to be done. We met up with Anne Mette at Tivoli and sat down for a drink or two. It was totally cool partying with our prof. Later, we made our way over to see Elvis Costello. I really didn't know any of his music at the time, and I still don't now. I did, however, smoke my first cigar. I have to say that I suck. But I was puffing the inhaler like it was my magic juice. It was sweet. Later some people left and a few of us decided to stay behind. For some stupid reason I gave my umbrella away. It turned out to be a bad decision. It started raining pretty hard, and we got wet.
Saturday was pretty unproductive. We hit the Rosenborg Castle and saw the Crown jewels. We took like a 3 hour lunch break. Well it wasn't a break because we hadn't done anything. Anyway, I decided to try the bread, butter, and water approach for only 16.5 Dkr. I was satisfied. John ate 2 pizza sandwiches. I think that is what set us back. Oh well, it was relaxing. Back at the hotel, Robert and I watched a dinosaur show on the discovery channel. We initially refused to leave until it was over but were convinced to head upstairs during a commercial break. For dinner i had nachos. Mmmm Mmmm. i also had my first dry martini. I have to say that i don't like the taste of pine needles. Back to 206 we went. John passed out on Angie's bed. It was hilarious. I have a great video of him. Later I had to walk so Angie came with me to the Moosebar. Once we got there, she went to the bathroom, and we immediately left. I didn't really want to drink anymore. It was all about the walk.
Oh Sunday. It was supposed to be a day of productivity. It really didn't turn out like that. We went to the botanical gardens. What a bust. I did manage to get a picture of a statue sporting a boner so I guess it wasn't a complete waste of time. I finished all my reading and ate some yummy authentic italian pizza. We met briefly to discuss our group presentation and project. Then we drank, again. There was a lot of laughing. Again, John passed out. Robert took like 10 pictures in a row of him passed out mode. I also have a few videos again. By the end of the night, my stomach hurt from laughing so I took John out for a drunk walk. We hit up the BK where he passed out on the table. As I was taking a picture, a couple noticed him. On their way out, they were lightly shaking his arm. All John could say was, "Nej Danske. Nej Danske." We ate our burgers and went to bed. Goodnight.
