Every Man Is An Island

I stand by that. But clearly some men are island chains. Underneath, they are connected...

My Cube

I figure that I should write this down before I forget.

The desert, the sand color resembles that of dry dry desert. From my vantage point there is a hill sloping downward into a shallow valley. In the distance is a hill that meets the horizon.

There is a cube floating on the top of that hill. It has surfaces, but it cannot be known if it is solid. It reflects multiple colors from the sun. These colors swirl and blend together. The cube and thus hill is an undetermined distance away. The size of the cube is unknown as well. The cube is in motion but not in any choreographed way. The best way to describe this movement is Brownian motion.

There is a ladder to the left of the cube, also on the hill. It is not close but yet not far from the cube. If you stare at the cube, the ladder can easily be seen in your peripheral vision. It is the metallic type that is extendable. It is not leaning on anything which is odd. It is standing straight up in the air with no support. The ladder is bigger than the cube but does not dwarf it. This must mean that the cube is pretty big.

There is a horse. It is cartoonish. It resembles the horse form The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The most important fact is the movement though. It is galloping in from the right diagonally down the hill toward the center of the valley. Each time you look at the horse it appears to be in the same position, but yet you know that it is moving and where it is going. It is as if it is a big blur and only appears clear when stared at.

Off in the horizon to the left is a storm. It is pretty rough thunder storm but not really really black. The storm isn't coming this way. It is rather moving horizontally across the horizon. The storm is producing a lot of lightning. You can see lightning shooting both down and up. It is almost as if the center of the storm is at eye level.

There are small leafy bushes on either side of the valley that don't appear to belong in the desert. They resemble the bushes from Lego Star Wars. There is also an oversized palm tree on the hill. It hangs a bit toward the middle but not over the cube.
